The responsibility of an Adoption Caseworker is to assist children in becoming legal members of an adoptive family. Adoption Caseworkers work closely with the child, the potential adoptive family, and sometimes birth families to facilitate the legal and emotional process of adoption. This involves conducting home studies, preparing necessary documentation, and providing support to all parties involved in the adoption process.

Recruiting foster families and assisting with obtaining licenses (option B) is typically the responsibility of a Foster Care Caseworker, who focuses on placing children in temporary foster care arrangements.

Working primarily with families who have had children removed and placed in substitute care (option C) falls under the role of a Child Protective Services Caseworker, who intervenes in situations of abuse or neglect to ensure the safety and well-being of children.

Establishing fiduciary relationships with families (option D) is not a primary responsibility of an Adoption Caseworker. Fiduciary relationships involve trust and confidence in handling financial or legal matters, which is not the main focus of an Adoption Caseworker's role.
